I feel like we built a temple of peace on earth (the UN) and tried to keep a fire for peace & piety burning in it, but someone conquered the temple and replaced the fire with an altar for war & wealth. Now, they misled all people to pray to war & wealth, twisted the meanings of the symbols in the temple and persecute everyone who doesn't share their religion. And the peaceful original owners of the temple are lonesome people scattered in a diaspora trying to keep little candles burning (like this article – you even put it into your "window") to preserve the peaceful fire to bring it back home one day.
