I firmly believe that there is no real alliance between the EU nations and the U.S. Even NATO is a farce. The US views the EU as an economic competitor and not a partner. NATO states are not allies they are vassals to be managed and kept in line. The destruction of the Nord Stream pipeline was not an attack on Russia but rather an industrial sabotage attack on Germany. The Ukraine war was an opportunity to handicap Germany’s industrial base with high energy costs. Europe in the eyes of the American government, is a house slave and the rest of the world’s nations are field slaves. The favored status is bound to end at some point.
