Russian Colonel who carries Putin's Nuclear Controls Briefcase

Retired FSB Colonel Vadim Zimin, 53, is in intensive care after being shot at his home in Moscow.

Zimin was under house arrest over a corruption investigation when he was shot. The attack against Zimin comes amid various reports of a Kremlin purge against the Russian high military cadres.
